Full Job Title: Accounts and Operations Administrator

Work schedule: Mon-Fri 08:30 to 17:30

Reporting to: Finance Director

From very humble beginnings in a small unit in Leith, we are now filling thousands of bottles every week from our brand home, The Lind & Lime Gin Distillery on Coburg Street. This is a busy, multi-use site from where we produce, package and distribute Lind & Lime Gin as well as a growing portfolio of other products. We also host tours of the distillery.


THE ROLE

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Finance and Operations Administrator to join our team. This role is critical in ensuring the smooth running of our financial processes and day-to-day operations. You will work closely with the Finance and Operations team, providing essential administrative support and assisting with operational co-ordination. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

FINANCE ADMINISTRATION

  • Timely processing of supplier invoices and employee expenses.

  • Posting of daily sales and purchase transactions in the accounting system.

  • Performance of credit control activities.

  • Assist with monthly reconciliations and financial reporting.

  • Provide administrative support to the Finance team in daily activities.


OPERATIONS & LOGISTICS SUPPORT

  • Assist in sourcing suppliers and obtaining quotations.

  • Raising purchase orders in the inventory management system.

  • Posting of daily stock movements in the inventory management system.

  • Co-ordination and processing of stock counts.

  • Provide administrative support to the Operations team in daily activities.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE: REQUIRED

  • Previous experience in accounting and/or operations role.

  • Proficiency in MS office (Excel, Word).

  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

  • Eligible to work in the UK.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE: DESIRABLE

  • Proficiency in stock management software.

  • Experience in spirits, manufacturing or warehousing.
